Message: Carol the ‘Olive’ lady is wonderful! Such a lovely employee who loves her job and takes it seriously! The olive bar is always clean and neat and organized! She is a welcoming employee who loves her job and Kowalskis’s! Nominate for employee of the year! I’m in your store every other day at least! Kowalskis on Grand is the best grocery store overall in Minnesota! ❤️.

Message: Amazing hot bar food options. Great ready to cook meat options! Love their in-house bakery items. High quality food and produce. Obviously on the higher end of prices.. Star bucks inside too.

Message: A beautiful upscale grocery with a fabulous deli for quick grab items. Prices are higher on general grocery, but their sandwiches at the deli are delicious and reasonably priced. Great bakery and catering too!

Message: Space too small. Damn hard to get two carts in one aisle. Seems there is always someone working on supplying all aisles with new supplies. Always seems there are always employees in a bunch laughing very loud. Also, this is true with the Deli. I think if you could keep all employees busy and less time visiting and laughing it would create a better picture for the shoppers.. On the good side the product is always fresh and very good.

Message: I am so writing to you about your employee Betty who takes the catering orders. She was so nice and helped me tremendously with my order for the shower I hosted on Sunday. I give her a A+ in customer service and going the extra mile for me.

Message: This is a supermarket that has been here for a long time (as long as I can remember) I used to do Refrigeration work here years ago back in the 1980's and 90's. The refrigeration used to be in an underground concrete bunker with individual water cooled units, a single pump and a cooling tower. There was and old tandem R-12 system that ran the meat department and had a water cooled condenser. Interesting history of this old market only old timer refrigeration guys would know. I did refrigeration service work here for ten years when I worked for Total Refrigeration systems. This used to be an old Red owl Store before Kowalski took it over and it has gone through many refrigeration store upgrades and also store remodels. Kowalski markets always does an outstanding job with customer service and high quality merchandise. I wish that I had some photos of that old compressor room from 35 years ago (it's long gone now) Just finished eating lunch here and the store brought back some old nostalgic memories when I worked with Dana and Rick.
