Message: I'm writing my review for the bakery. The custom birthday cake I ordered was delicious, looked great, and was on time. The baker, female with pink/purple hair, was a huge help, and her skills made the cake look so cool.

Message: Love shopping here, especially the online ordering and picking up feature. Great, friendly service and love when they text you while shopping and if out of something, they shoot pictures of what is available as options.

Message: The pickup service has been phenomenal. Back when it first started there were some issues and one time, after waiting in the car for maybe 20 minutes, I went in to ask what was going on. The woman I spoke rolled her eyes, apologized, called a worker on the store com system and said they were planning on revamping the pickup team. Ever since then the service has been great. Andrew, in particular, is the man. There was another woman that went above and beyond in trying to get a minimum purchase amount so I could get a holiday discount as well. I think her name was Angela.. Hy-Vee is an obvious competitor with cheaper prices on a lot of items, but Cub sometimes gives discounts for high purchase amounts (e. g. Holiday discount was $20 off a $100 minimum purchase). Cub gas rewards expire, which is quite annoying because sometimes you need to wait for them to build up to justify not just going to Costco, which can be difficult if you don't shop exclusively at Cub. I generally compare prices between Hy-vee, Cub, Walmart, and Amazon, but lately might be shifting to a focus more on Hy-vee and Walmart (for non-perishables) due to pricing. I also shop at Costco for value, gas, and stocking up on frozen meals for a while, but it's a bit of a drive.. Store is generally not crowded. Produce is good.. If I was rating on service alone I would give 5 stars. Giving 4 stars due to expiring gas rewards and higher prices for a lot of items unless they are on sale.

Message: SHORT LIST that day, let me start by saying, I have visited this location before and have gotten better service than I did today. For the life of me I could not find those larger bottles of lemon juice, looked in produce, looked down Baking isle, nothing. I was stumped. Here comes two employees that work the floor, I ask, the say pretty sure isle 6 and keep on walking. Isle 6 is the Baking isle, ok I will look once more, ok one more after that. Nope nothing. Let me walk to the front and ask the Head Cashier, BAAM. ISLE 16 on the left part way down, yes Sir there it is. Customer Service as we knew it is gone folks, we just better get used to it. I do appreciate the Head Cashier being on top of it.
