Message: This place was the best. The neighborhood has not been the same since they closed. The family that owns this place truly and genuinely cares about the community. We had been going there since they opened. They watched our kids grow and move on as we watched theirs. It was a good place to share recipes, and gardening tips. It was a good place to get treats for the kids during a hot summer day when we needed an excuse to get out of the house. There were countless times we grabbed some deli items to bring with on a trip to the pool or for a fishing excursion to the river. This place, and the employees are missed! Wherever they are now, my family hopes they are well.. To the owners. Thank you for all the years of support, advise, and of course nourishment.

Message: Nice hole in the wall kind of place/food counter. Very reasonable prices and good serving size. Staff is friendly and patient. Was happy to learn that they accepted credit cards for payment. Not many small businesses I visit accept credit card payment. Not a lot of crowd there depending on when you go.

Message: This is more ignoring the market and focusing on the deli. The market is a high 2 stars with all the barren and dirty shelves. Pretty interesting Asian foodstuff in those shelves though, so with a gander just to see what's available.. The deli is in the back with an eating area closer to the front. Order, get ticket and food/drinks, pay at front register. I ordered to eat in and they have a lot of different sauces to taste with the food. The chicken and noodles I ordered was really good, large portion, and very filling, a great value for the price. I also ordered a vanilla drink and it was surprisingly good. Definitely will stop there again for food.

Message: BEST Papaya Salad in the city! The ONLY place I order it from! Ive had it several places in Minneapolis, all from which I would not repeat as far as their Papaya Salad goes. They will make it as spicy as you want, take orders in advance (no delivery, unfortunately) and they're Phô is excellent, too! Very large portions at very reasonable prices! Highly recommend this place for food!

Message: I like the food had Pad Thai there, drunken noodle there, papaya salad (did not particularly care for their style of making it but it was okay), their pork is delicious, their bubble tea is good but the tapioca balls were frozen and not. I really love their food.

Message: I grew up in the North Minneapolis community. I grew up shopping at this store occasionally. Now, that I work close by this market, I tend to go for lunch. I see that they have upgraded the store. There's a restaurant in the back and pretty clean. I ordered a dish, 'drunken noodle' and it was delicious. The best one I had so far. I would go there again. The ladies in the kitchen were super friendly. It's pretty small but quiet if you want to spend your lunch time to rejuvenate.

Message: I was really impressed with the little restaurant in the back of this little grocery store. The people working behind the counter were friendly and helpful, and the food I got (drunken noodles) was excellent. The dining area was small (6 tables) and clean enough for a quick lunch. I was excited to find delicious south-east asian food in North Minneapolis. I will definitely be back to try more!
